Congratulations to the winners of the 12th Annual Mobius Environmental Awards! Recognized at the awards luncheon held at Pier 21 in Halifax on Wednesday, June 2nd, their outstanding environmental achievements have set them apart as leaders in waste reduction and as role models in their communities.
The keynote speaker for this year's awards luncheon was Silver Donald Cameron, a celebrated author and also the host and executive producer of the recently-launched environmental web site TheGreenInterview.com. Mr. Cameron gave an invigorating talk on the cycles of life and the tendency of humankind to live outside of those cycles, linking it to the important work of organizations like RRFB Nova Scotia and the accomplishments of the award recipients.
