2009 Mobius Environmental Awards

Every year, RRFB Nova Scotia recognizes innovative organizations and individuals who have made Nova Scotia a leader in waste reduction.

On May 27^th, 2009, RRFB Nova Scotia presented the 11^th Annual Mobius Awards during a luncheon at Pier 21 in Halifax.

This year's keynote speaker at the awards luncheon was Jay Ingram, co-host and producer of the Discovery Channel's Daily Planet, and one of Canada's most respected science journalists. Mr. Ingram shared his observations on environmental sustainability and highlighted different ways people are tackling environmental issues.

More than $2,700 was donated to Feed Nova Scotia by those in attendance in lieu of event tickets.

• Honourable Mention - Valley Waste Resource Management

Individual Excellence in Waste Reduction

Region of the Year
