Nova Scotians can bring their end-of-life electronics, FREE OF CHARGE, for recycling at any Atlantic Canada Electronic Stewardship (ACES) drop-off centres throughout the province. End-of-life electronics are those that have reached the end of their useful life, either because they are broken or outdated. The ACES program accepts electronics in the following categories:
- Televisions
- Desktop Computers
- Computer Monitors
- Laptop Computers
- Desktop Printers, Scanners, Fax Machines
- Personal or Portable Audio/Video Systems
- Home Audio/Video Systems
- Home Theatre in a Box (HTB) Systems
- Non-Cellular Telephones
- Vehicle Audio/Video Systems (Aftermarket)

Nova Scotians can recycle their cell phones through the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA) recycling program.
Cell phones and accessories can be brought to one of the numerous drop-off locations throughout the province or you can print off a pre-paid shipping label from the Recycle My Cell website.
