Nova Scotia's Solid Waste Management Regions

Recycling and composting programs may vary throughout the province, depending on where you live. Nova Scotia is divided into seven different solid waste-resource management regions. Please check on your region for specific information on your municipality's program.

Region 1 - Cape Breton Region 2 - Eastern Region Region 3 - Northern Region Region 4 - Halifax Region Region 5 - Valley Region Region 6 - South Shore/West Hants Region 7 - Western Region
